That's right! YOU the tax payers pay a pilot to fly the Mosquito Plane 30 hours a year (in the months of July, August and September) in a limited time period in the evening a full time salary of $55,000!
I suggested that we contract with a pilot for these three months only and guarantee a wage in exchange for being on call for these months and times and could effectively save over $45,000! That's right $45,000!
Guess what happened when I brought this up? I was asked by member Kent Clawson "What my motivation was for bringing this up?" I stated "To try and save the Weber County Tax Payers Money."
